Description
The Autonomous Vehicles (AV) team at NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated and technical Product Manager to define and build the future of NVIDIA's self-driving software. The mission is to build and scale self-driving technology at light speed – from L2 driving to L4 robotaxis. The successful candidate will be responsible for core components of NVIDIA's perception stack, specifically building out the understanding of the rules of the road worldwide.
The role involves identifying the right problems for teams to work on, designing, prioritizing, and delivering technology solutions in collaboration with leading experts. The goal is to lead teams in defining and delivering advanced perception technology product roadmaps for parking and driving, making the future of self-driving vehicles a reality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with technical product managers and leads to understand complex self-driving problems and break them down into solutions with prioritized technical requirements.
- Interacting directly with engineering leaders to convert requirements into industry-competitive roadmaps.
- Coordinating and collaborating with teams and internal customers to deliver roadmaps, communicate and resolve bottlenecks, address issues, and measure outcomes.
- Developing a deep technical understanding of the entire stack to proactively identify areas of improvement and investment, influencing technical direction.
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills, including experience in perception and computer vision for autonomous vehicles, driving/parking, robotics, or ADAS systems.
- Proven leadership skills with strong communication, influencing, and multi-functional team-building abilities across time zones.
- Ability to handle ambiguous situations, reach consensus, and make decisions.
- Execution focus with experience bringing new and innovative products and technologies into reality.
- 12+ years of relevant work experience with 5+ years of recent Product or Program Management experience.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
