PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) - Acute Care

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at PT Solutions in Anderson, IN. The successful candidate will work alongside Ascension St. Vincent to provide specialised rehabilitation services within a 125-bed inpatient facility. You will play a crucial role in supporting patients' journeys to recovery, offering personalised rehabilitation services designed to enhance mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Establish strong relationships with each patient to help them exceed their functional goals
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital with physicians, case management, nurses, and others

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program
• Current or pending state licensure
• Basic Life Support certification

Shift Requirements

• 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Compensation

• Pay Range: $35.00 - $38.00/hour
