Description
Aspirus at Home in Wausau, WI is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our field team.
The Physical Therapist Assistant carries out patient treatment procedures for pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the guidance and general supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to improve patient experience and participate in projects to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve the Environment of Care, patient and staff safety, and participate in projects to create a safe environment.
- Provide patient treatment in accordance with the plan of care and under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Maintain accurate documentation for reimbursement purposes, establish baseline data, and record treatment progress.
- Assist with training aides.
- Attend committee assignments, meetings, and in-services as assigned.
- Work in multiple patient care areas, including inpatient, outpatient, rehab units, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and contract services.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- State of WI PTA license.
- Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Driver's License and automobile liability insurance with $100,000/$300,000 coverage.
