Description
The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Lead / Senior Product Manager to lead the product team at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE). As a Lead / Senior Product Manager, you will shape and deliver a portfolio of digital, data, and AI products that support some of Singapore's most critical sustainability and resilience functions.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the agency's overall goals. Lead the product team to achieve this vision.
- Product Strategy & Digital Transformation: Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital and AI-enabled products that improve operational effectiveness, regulatory outcomes, and citizen services across the MSE Family.
- Data, AI & Operational Technologies: Partner engineers and operations teams to build digital solutions that integrate operational systems, IoT data, enterprise applications, and AI capabilities to support critical infrastructure and operational environments.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Market and Customer Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and market demand.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) or OKRs to measure product success and inform decision-making. Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments to the product strategy.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Ensure that customer needs and feedback are integrated into product planning and development.
- Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive product evolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing successful products and mentoring other product managers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
