HPC Infrastructure Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking an exceptional engineer to join the HPC Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will own the automation platform underneath VLSI infrastructure, designing and building internal services and command-line tooling used daily by design and infrastructure engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build internal services and command-line tooling used daily by design and infrastructure engineers, focusing on interface design and reliability.
• Develop event-driven automation around source control, reacting to repository events and maintaining workspaces and client mappings.
• Own CI, release, and deployment mechanics for the team's internal tooling, ensuring observability and debuggability.
• Write and run code, collaborate with the scheduling team on the automation layer, and reduce operational load on senior engineers.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure software engineering.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, with experience delivering production-quality, tested code.
• Hands-on experience with source control management at scale, preferably Perforce or Git, including APIs and event streams.
• Solid CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent, and container-based packaging and deployment.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and shell fluency, with experience building and operating internal developer platforms or engineering tooling.
• Familiarity with batch compute environments and engineering workload submission, tracking, and debugging.
