As an HR Business Partner at Ford, you will collaborate closely with the business to support leaders and employees in living and breathing the Ford Operating System (FOS) Behaviours. You will bring genuine commercial curiosity and an authentic care for people, delving deep into business operations to add value across the employee lifecycle.
The role involves partnering strategically with leaders to uplift capability, anticipating future workforce skill needs, and advocating for an inclusive, high-performing culture. You will balance strategic design with hands-on operational delivery, navigating complex labour and employee relations matters, and consulting on modern policy improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business Partnering & Coaching: acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organisational goals
- Labour & Employee Relations Management: providing guidance on complex employee and industrial relations matters
- Workforce Capability: partnering with People Leaders and Talent Acquisition to forecast future capability requirements
- Workplace Culture & Inclusion: championing Ford Operating System (FOS) Behaviours and supporting leaders in building psychologically safe, high-performing teams
- HR Operations, Insights & Projects: delivering core HR programs and leveraging workforce data to inform business decisions
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Industrial Relations, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive HR Business Partnering / Generalist experience in a fast-paced or technical environment. Strong industrial and labour relations background, policy and consultation expertise, and a genuine passion for fostering inclusive workplace practices are also required.
