Physical Therapist

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Wilkes Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation.

As a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment
• Provide patient care assessment and treatment, including evaluations, treatments, and discharge notes
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure legibility
• Meet department financial and productivity standards
• Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
• Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers
• Provide appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines

Requirements:

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school
• Current licensure in the state of applicable state
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C

Schedule Details:

• Full-time Monday-Friday outpatient adult schedule with cross-training to inpatient adult hospital for required weekend rotation
• Opportunity may be available for outpatient pediatrics and lymphedema, but not required for this role

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour
