MEP Quantity Surveying

We are seeking a MEP Quantity Surveying professional to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will provide general assistance and MEP Quantity Surveying to the cost management team in the provision of pre and post contract work to the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all pre- and post-contract stages of quantity surveying duties
• Handle tender analysis and bidding, tender documents administration, material taking off and pricing, measurement of works, valuation of variation, etc.
• Prepare cost estimation, extension of time claim, certifying payment and variation, and final account settlement
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, specialist suppliers, and support administrative matters
• Attend site inspections, visits, site meetings, or tender interviews when required
• Develop basic Quantity Surveying skills and experience

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying or commercial management, strong in E&M, construction, interior fit-out, or capital projects
• Proven track record in project experience and QS skill set (preferably E&M QS skill set)
• Good understanding of commercial best practices in the HK fitting out industry
• Good analytical, reporting, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders in a corporate environment
• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Cost and Procurement Management, or a related field
