COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with The Menta Group, you will work with students to help them improve and develop the skills needed for day-to-day life and work, according to the students' IEPs.

The Menta Group is hiring COTAs at multiple schools due to increased need, with part-time and full-time options available. School hours can be flexible on Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
• Assist in developing and updating IEP goals and progress reports for student caseload.
• Provide Occupational Therapy-related service minutes and carry out individual treatment plans, as dictated on the IEP.
• Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly and coordinate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP-directed.

Qualifications

• COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with IDFPR (or proof of application).
• Ability to work with students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI/OHI.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: USD 46,000-50,000 per-year-salary.
