Floor Scrubber Operator - 1st Shift

We are seeking a Floor Scrubber Operator to join our team at Multimatic in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a full-time, 1st shift position.

As a Floor Scrubber Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our manufacturing facility and supporting preventative maintenance programs. Your duties will include:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
• Conducting daily plant walks and completing checklists
• Ensuring the outside building perimeter is clean and well-maintained
• Operating a floor scrubber throughout the plant facility
• Collaborating with plant personnel to improve overall cleanliness and order
• Working on various equipment, including plumbing, piping, air systems, and HVAC

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
• Be able to obtain a motorized vehicle license to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts
• Be able to work at heights and in confined areas
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Possess demonstrated organizational skills and experience
