Spire Bushey Hospital is currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly Pharmacy department to join the bank. You MUST have NHS or Private Hospital experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and support to consultants, nurses and other clinicians ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines throughout the hospital. They will also build strong working relationships with colleagues and consultants and work together to improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personalized care to patients
- Advising on the safe use of medicines
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and consultants
- Suggesting new processes and equipment to improve health outcomes and safety
- Promoting a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare
Requirements:
- Pharmacists educated to degree level
- Current GPhC registration with a minimum of 1 year post qualifying practice in Hospital settings
- Post qualifying experience working in a Hospital setting is ESSENTIAL
- Excellent communicator
- Non-medical prescribing would be advantageous
