Senior Hardware System Validation Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Hardware System Validation Engineer to lead hardware validation activities in the Datacenter Systems Engineering team. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure product validation and test coverage are optimal.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test strategies to guarantee high-quality products from functional and performance perspectives.
• Design and develop software to automate verification of Data Center Scale infrastructure components using Python.
• Validate distributed Storage systems on AI/HPC Datacenter scale infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to debug product issues.
• Debug, triage issues, perform root cause analysis, verify fixes, define new tests, and improve product test plans.
• Analyze and root-cause issues down to the code level, leading the defect fixing process, and bug life cycle management.

Requirements:

• MSEE/MSCE or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of validation experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering & Storage system verification.
• Proven expertise in Test Framework & automation scripts development, CI/CD experience using Python, SHELL, Ansible, Git & Jenkins, docker containers & Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of system-level debugging and analysis tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to participate in cross-functional quality initiatives.
• Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GPU server architecture and storage validation in Datacenter infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker containers & Jenkins pipelines.
• Certifications in storage (e.g., SNIA) or HPC systems.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
