Brooke Charter Schools is a network of four public charter schools serving grades K-12 in Mattapan, Roslindale, and East Boston. At Brooke, we coach and invest in our teachers so that they can help our students achieve at the highest levels and graduate from college.
As an IEP Team Chair at Brooke East Boston, you will oversee the drafting, implementation, and maintenance of IEPs and 504 plans. You will oversee the initial and re-evaluation process and coordinate standardized testing accommodations. Hours for this role are 7:15 am - 4:20 pm.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in special education or hold a special education teaching license
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state special education laws
- At least 2 years as a lead teacher
- Commitment to fostering diversity by cultivating anti-racist practices and removing bias
- Professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues
Benefits:
- Salaries range from $74,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience
- Additional $3,300 stipend for teaching a high-need area
