Software Engineering Manager - Image and Data Compression Libraries

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager for our Image and Data Compression Libraries team. You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers to develop accelerated image and data processing solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and empowering your team to deliver projects meeting internal and external customer needs.
• Building and maintaining a project roadmap aligned with company goals and customer expectations.
• Determining project goals and scope, ensuring execution and delivery.
• Fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment promoting innovation and creativity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of overall experience, including three or more in team management, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience in designing and testing large-scale software with solid examples.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the open-source community.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with image processing concepts and algorithms.
• Knowledge of image and data compression formats and algorithms.
• Expertise in parallel programming and performance optimization on modern computer architectures.
• Prior experience working with distributed teams.
