Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for end-to-end accounting and finance operations for Red Bull Korea.

Responsibilities:

• Month-end closing: Own the General Ledger through Trial Balance, ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting, and review GL postings for compliance.
• Tax Compliance & Reporting: Coordinate monthly and quarterly VAT compliance activities, annual Corporate Income Tax filing, and withholding tax compliance.
• Accounts Payable, Treasury & Vendor Management: Oversee supplier invoice and employee expense processing, monitor cash inflows and outflows, and manage vendor onboarding documentation.
• Credit Management & Accounts Receivable: Maintain customer credit master data, monitor customer credit exposure, and conduct periodic credit reviews.
• Statutory Audit, Internal Controls & Finance Operations: Coordinate interim and year-end statutory audit activities, prepare audit schedules, and support implementation of internal controls.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in General Accounting, Tax, Audit or Finance, preferably within a multinational company or Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of month-end closing, General Ledger, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Good understanding of Korean tax regulations, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding tax requirements.
• Practical experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury, cash management, Accounts Receivable, and customer credit processes.
• Experience coordinating with outsourced accounting firms, tax advisors, statutory auditors, banks, and other external service providers.
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and good working knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional accounting or tax qualifications (e.g., CPA, AICPA, ACCA) are preferred.
• Fluency in English & Korean (verbal and written)
