Seasonal Retail Sales Lead (Briarwood Mall)

Squishable is looking for a Seasonal Retail Sales Lead to join their team in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at Briarwood Mall. The ideal candidate is a natural-born leader who loves the store experience, is passionate, driven, and highly organized, with a desire to bring happiness to people's lives.

Job Summary

The Retail Sales Lead is a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, developing the team, and creating an exceptional experience for every Squishable fan.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in delivering a fun, welcoming, and efficient customer experience during the busy holiday season.
• Helps lead the sales floor during peak periods, keeping the team focused on customer service and sales goals.
• Drives holiday sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, and strong knowledge of Squishable products.
• Supports seasonal promotions, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining an organized, well-stocked sales floor.
• Helps manage customer flow and resolves concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Provides day-to-day direction and support to team members and jumps in wherever needed during busy periods.
• Supports opening, closing, and keyholder responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail, customer service, or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Passion for people and creating a fun, welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to stay positive and flexible during busy periods.
• Team player who can motivate others, take initiative, and jump in wherever needed.
• Comfortable receiving and providing feedback and helping keep the team focused on shared goals.
• Must have flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Compensation

• Pay rate is $16.00 per hour.
