Audio Artist III - FC

Electronic Arts is seeking an experienced Audio Artist III - FC to join the EA SPORTS team. As an Audio Artist III - FC, you will oversee audio-specific projects to create and maintain a quality audio experience. You will report to the Development Manager and work with the Audio leads.

Responsibilities:

• Create quality audio for video games with a focus on authentic dialogue
• Author small audio-related tasks with a focus on content pipelines
• Support features, small projects, or tasks within the Speech discipline
• Complete technical implementation, logic, and data-basing tasks
• Participate in project problem-solving with the audio team
• Manage editor package imports, sample handling, and database updates
• Perform quality control reviews for project audio
• Create software designs to support custom source elements
• Manage source control, submit to file depots, and handle build pipelines
• Participate in team collaboration and work independently
• Collaborate in prototyping and driving innovation and improvements
• Take direction from Audio Leads and other senior audio artists

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of studio engineering/recording/VO experience
• 5+ years of game audio experience
• Technical game audio implementation experience
• Proficiency in at least one audio middleware software (Wwise, Fmod)
• Experience with third-party game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.)
• Expert in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of code or scripting languages (C#, C++, SQL, Python, Lua, etc.)
• Knowledge of the sport and game (FC27)
• Database experience (MS Access, Excel, Google Sheets)
• Solid experience using game audio development tools and technology
• Proficiency with modern audio creation equipment and software
• Exceptional sound design skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Experience with tracking documentation and managing large data sets
