Description
PT Solutions, in partnership with Ascension St. Vincent, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join their acute care team in Kokomo, Indiana. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
The role involves preparing equipment for treatment, establishing relationships with patients to help them achieve their functional goals, and demonstrating a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment for treatment and assisting an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
- Establishing strong relationships with each patient to enable them to exceed their functional goals
- Demonstrating a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members
- Building and maintaining relationships throughout the community
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved occupational therapist assistant program
- State Licensure
- Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association
