We're looking for a Liability Claims Adjuster to join our team on the East Coast, specifically in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. As a Liability Claims Adjuster, you will analyze mid- and higher-level general liability claims to determine benefits due, ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices, and identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing mid-level general liability claims by gathering information to determine liability exposure
- Assigning reserve values to claims, making claims payments as necessary, and settling claims up to designated authority level
- Assessing liability and resolving claims within evaluation
- Approving and processing assigned claims, determining benefits due, and managing action plans
- Managing subrogation of claims and negotiating settlements
- Communicating claim actions with claimants and clients
- Ensuring claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
- Jurisdiction knowledge: East Coast - NJ, PA & FL
- Licensing: Home state preferred

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $70,000.
