Description
Electronic Arts is seeking an Assistant Producer to work on the EA SPORTS™ NHL team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating narrative content for players and working closely with the production and design team.
The EA SPORTS NHL franchise is renowned for its innovative approach to sports gaming, connecting millions of players globally to their favourite teams and players. The team is looking for someone with a deep understanding of hockey and a passion for creating engaging experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Update player, team, league, and arena databases
- Coordinate and verify data entry
- Research and evaluate current database entries for updates throughout the hockey season
- Provide live launch support
- Assist in creating and modifying writing content
- Collaborate with NHL producers to understand targets and priorities
- Communicate progress and quality with the NHL team
- Manage dependencies and coordinate deliverables across teams
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in game design and/or production, preferably on a live service with tight deadlines
- Experience shipping at least one AAA title as a producer or designer
- Strong knowledge of hockey and the EA SPORTS NHL franchise
Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of hockey and global leagues
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt to live changes
- Ability to work in a team setting and autonomously on projects
- Strong advocate for end-user experience and ability to document creative ideas
