Description
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with an electronic, mechatronic, or process engineering background to join their team in Quonset Point, RI.
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing Anduril's manufacturing operations for best-in-class quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization, all while meeting critical customer and internal development timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, documenting, and implementing efficient manufacturing processes to meet new product development and full-rate production goals
- Identifying and addressing production constraints and bottlenecks
- Providing technical guidance to the production team and acting as a liaison between departments
- Collaborating with the Quality team to set quality standards and implement inspection processes
- Organizing workshops to generate new ideas for solving complex manufacturing issues
- Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and team engagement
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with complex electrical assemblies
- A solid understanding of hardware manufacturing processes for electronics and electromechanical systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage a product from start to finish in manufacturing
- Experience analyzing material flow and working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Strong technical ability to read technical documentation such as electrical schematic drawings and 3D CAD files
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with production line design and setup, value stream mapping, and lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of CAD and production simulation software
The salary range for this role is $111,000-$147,000 USD per year.
