Description
We are seeking a Senior VP Originator / Relationship Manager to join our Deutsche Bank Wealth Management team in Zürich. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically growing our Germany International franchise, focusing on sophisticated HNW and UHNW individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, and foundations.
Responsibilities
- Originate and acquire new HNW and UHNW client relationships for the Germany International franchise
- Build, develop, and manage long-term client relationships
- Deliver revenues, net new assets, and net new lending in line with the firm's strategy and targets
- Provide holistic, personalised advice and tailored solutions across investments, discretionary portfolio management, lending, and financing
- Proactively identify complex cross-border and financing opportunities and coordinate Investment Managers, Lending specialists, and other product experts
- Connect clients to relevant capabilities across Wealth Management, Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, and Asset Management
- Strengthen connectivity between the Zürich and German platforms and stay ahead of market trends
- Act as the primary point of contact and Accountable Client Owner
Skills
- Substantial wealth management and private banking experience
- Proven senior-level origination capabilities in the German market
- Demonstrated success in delivering sustainable growth in revenues, net new assets, and lending
- Deep understanding of sophisticated HNW/UHNW client needs and strong investment, financing, and wealth-planning insight
- Strong knowledge of the German wealth management market and a sound understanding of the Swiss financial centre and relevant regulatory framework
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset with clear and structured working methods
- Strong risk awareness and a consistent record of operating within professional, legal, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Very good command of German and English
