Description
WSP is seeking an Assistant Vice President Structural Engineer - Bridges for their New York office. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for multi-site projects, focusing on bridge-focused complex transportation engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical lead roles on bridge-focused complex transportation engineering projects
- Lead analysis, design, and construction support services for bridge projects
- Support business development through preparation of technical and cost proposals
- Develop a client base for high-level structural engineering services
- Mentor staff and support their growth and professional development
- Review and oversee work of mid-level and junior engineers
- Ensure department management and administration tasks are completed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience
- Professional Engineer licence required
- Extensive experience in building and infrastructure planning, design, and program/construction management
- Strong knowledge of structural and civil construction laws, codes, and regulations
- Prior leadership experience
- Excellent technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer licence in multiple states

Compensation:
- Expected salary: $138,300 - $200,230 per year
