Staff Strategic Supply Chain Manager, PCB/PCBA

The Staff Strategic Supply Chain Manager, PCB/PCBA is a domain expert for PCB/PCBA commodities at Anduril Industries. This role focuses on securing critical components, materials, and services to power their products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
• Deliver quality parts on time at the right cost.
• Act as the sourcing expert for PCB/PCBA and subassemblies manufacturing.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes.
• Manage business relationships with external Contract Manufacturing, ensuring continuity of supply, risk management, cost negotiations, and NPI to MP operation execution.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team and Contract Manufacturers to influence technical design specs and customize product and manufacturing requirements.
• Analyze quote submissions based on cost breakdowns and make data-driven decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support prototype requirements, execute against build milestones, and lead sourcing activities.
• Influence CM's manufacturing processes and CapEx and technology decisions.
• Negotiate key agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
• Collaborate internally, negotiate tradeoffs, solicit cooperation, resolve problems, and advance new supplier or product offerings.
• Provide strong technical direction within specific commodities.
• Manage and lead operations efforts for developing new and adapting existing technologies.
• Develop and execute commercial agreements reflecting project expectations.
• Conduct regular technology reviews for Executive staff and management.
• Own supplier performance management for respective commodities.
• Act as the primary escalation for respective commodities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain category management of printed circuit board assembly and electronics manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industries.
• Well-versed in TCO analysis.
• Strategic thinker with experience in creating commodities strategy/roadmap with key engineering stakeholders.
• Proven leadership in driving and influencing other teams.
• Fluent in other cross-functional areas.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

Salary Range: $191,000-$254,000 USD
