Grading Operator

We are seeking a Grading Operator to work at our plant in Bergen op Zoom. As a Grading Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, unloading, cleaning, sorting, and storing potatoes. You will also advise on the composition of potato batches to achieve the desired quality for our products.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure a smooth handover during shift changes
• Take responsibility for processing potato batches
• Set up and maintain installations and machines, ensuring they are hygienic and functioning properly
• Monitor and control the process on your department
• Conduct quality checks and make adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal results
• Identify areas for improvement and take initiative
• Perform cleaning tasks and maintain a tidy workspace

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Completed MBO level 3 or 4 education (or willing to pursue)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Social skills, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities
