Description
We are seeking a versatile engineer to join our High Speed SERDES IO electrical validation team in the NVIDIA Silicon Co-Design Group. Your role involves electrical validation and characterization of high-speed interconnects such as PCIe, USB3, Ethernet, and UFS for NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, and SOCs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing electrical validation for high-speed interfaces, ensuring adherence to signal integrity standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to facilitate design and development
- Analyzing complex HSIO bugs and diagnosing issues using modern lab equipment
- Developing and applying test/debug programs using scripting languages like Perl and Python
- Innovating methodologies that leverage AI-assisted workflows and data-driven analytics to enhance debugging efficiency and validation quality
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience) with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Deep high-speed/SERDES electrical validation and tuning experience
- Expert-level proficiency in electrical validation of PCIe (or similar) protocols and scripting skills (Perl, Python)
- Proven experience in building AI solutions specifically in the context of electrical and silicon validation
