Join the Transformation Office team at Humana, a high-performing team that works closely with senior leaders to shape the company's future. As a member of this team, you will support the execution of the enterprise strategy by identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and implementing initiatives to fundamentally change the member, patient, provider, and associate experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of complex, cross-functional workstreams with guidance from team leadership.
- Apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving to strategic and operational challenges.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and contribute to business cases and data-driven recommendations.
- Synthesize complex findings into clear, compelling executive-level stories and PowerPoint presentations.
- Develop high-quality, data-backed deliverables with limited rework.
- Build trusted relationships with business partners and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, adapting as priorities and business needs evolve.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset by actively seeking and applying coaching and feedback to accelerate professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in management consulting or healthcare industry experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following: management consulting or strategy/operations consulting, with experience solving complex business problems and supporting strategic or operational initiatives; and/or healthcare industry experience, preferably within a healthcare payer or health insurance environment, with experience in strategy, operations, analytics, or enterprise transformation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare payer experience, including familiarity with health plan operations, business models, and/or economics.
- Experience in a top-tier management consulting environment or comparable strategy/operations consulting setting.
- Experience solving healthcare strategy, operations, cost, growth, or performance improvement challenges.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, MPH, or related graduate degree.
Location: Working locations are Louisville, KY and Arlington, VA (Washington, DC metro area.). The Transformation team operates on a hybrid work arrangement (in office expectation of 3 days per week).
Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Range: $104,400 - $143,600 per year
