Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Engineering Lab Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of engineering lab environments in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring lab capacity, infrastructure, equipment, materials, and technician support are aligned with engineering schedules, customer deliverables, and business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary lab operations contact for various teams, including engineering, program management, and manufacturing
- Ensuring lab processes are well-documented for repeatable execution
- Monitoring lab conditions to prevent safety or operational risks
- Developing forward-looking lab capacity plans
- Maintaining clear lab organization standards
- Coordinating with facilities, environmental health and safety, and compliance teams
- Managing lab asset tracking
- Communicating lab status and concerns to leadership and stakeholders
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering lab, data center, or similar environment
- Experience with lab safety, equipment maintenance, and engineering testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The expected salary range for this position is $95,800 - $220,500 per year.
