Description
We are seeking an experienced Instrument & Controls Technician at our Plant Cleveland facility in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with plant control systems, specifically Siemens T3000 control systems, and will be responsible for maintaining control systems and associated equipment for the operation and maintenance of a Siemens F class simple cycle dual fuel combustion turbine facility.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain control systems and associated equipment (electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
- Troubleshoot plant control and electrical systems
- Maintain plant maintenance records in a computer-based work order system (Maximo)
- Work independently and as an effective team member
- Display strong problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize plant performance
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience with electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation and control systems in power plants
- Experience with Siemens T3000 control systems and CEMS, PLCs, and Siemens F class gas turbines is desired
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of F Class combustion turbine operations and maintenance is a plus
- An approved two-year technical degree from a certified technical institution or military or similar/relative work experience is preferred
