Description
As a Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for HPE Networking, you will be responsible for managing pre-sales technical support to prospective clients and Global Major Accounts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
The role requires a proven track record of successful sales support activity, presenting and articulating the capabilities and values of HPE Network Solutions versus competitors.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected Global Major accounts in assigned territory
- Provide optimum combination of hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer needs
- Play a role in developing bids, proposals, and presentations to prospects
- Deliver technical presentations to customers, partners, and potential prospects
- Manage channel partners to drive business and deliver demand generation events
- Develop account relationships and identify additional opportunities
- Possess competitive knowledge of solution, technology, and product offerings
- Provide consultative support to key internal/external stakeholders
- Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and customers
- Prepare detailed product specifications for customer products/applications/solutions
- Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions
- Build proofs of concept based on customer requirements
- Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with successful pre-sales support
- Excellent oral and written communication, organisational, presentation, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues
- Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge
- Experience with routing and switching technologies, networking security, NAC, wireless design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- CWNA, CWDP, CWSP knowledge level preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $175,000 - $411,500 per year.
