Sr. Store Designer

The Retail Growth & Development team within Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Real Estate organisation is seeking a talented Sr. Store Designer. As a Sr. Store Designer, you will be part of an exciting, fast-moving business unit that requires entrepreneurial spirit, versatility, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

• Translating brand design standards and concepts into innovative, fiscally responsible designs
• Managing the design process, interfacing with internal and external design partners
• Adapting site-specific conditions, metrics, and standards to store designs
• Building data-driven scopes of work with internal stakeholders
• Developing FF&E and Décor packages
• Working with key stakeholders to produce comprehensive design development packages
• Creating presentation packages to communicate designs to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Driving Schematic Design Packages
• Coordinating with Construction, Procurement, and Operations Teams on budget, schedule, and value engineering efforts
• Managing consultants throughout the design and project lifecycle
• Providing Construction Administrative support as needed
• Archiving completed drawings, redlines, and shop drawings
• Obtaining landlord approvals per lease requirements
• Reviewing and approving submittals and shop drawings

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 7+ years of commercial retail design or architecture experience
• Intermediate Revit skills

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables
• Experience in a grocery environment
• Architectural or Interior Design FF&E background
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Enscape, SketchUp, SmartSheet
• Knowledge of current sustainability trends and practices
• Experience managing change through multiple projects in various phases of design
