Lead BI/Data/Web Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead BI/Data/Web Developer to join our data team, specializing in the Media and Entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience developing advanced, performance-optimized Tableau solutions.

Responsibilities

• Media Data Visualization Leadership:
• Lead the entire lifecycle of complex Tableau dashboards, focusing on key media metrics.
• Translate advanced analytical models into intuitive, high-impact visualizations.
• Establish best-in-class visualization standards tailored for media data consumption.

• Data Strategy & Technical Excellence:
• Architect scalable and highly efficient Tableau data sources, optimizing for query performance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Scientists to define and refine data models.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for advanced Tableau functionalities.

• Stakeholder Management & Mentorship:
• Partner with teams to elicit and document precise reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on data storytelling, dashboard design principles, and BI governance policies.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence development, with at least 5 years dedicated to Tableau.
• Industry Focus: Deep, demonstrable experience in the Media, Entertainment, Publishing, or Ad-Tech industries.
• Technical Expertise: Expert proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Server/Cloud administration, Advanced SQL, and data modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification: Current Tableau Certified Professional or equivalent high-level certification.
• Ad-Tech Experience: Familiarity with data from major Ad-Tech platforms or audience measurement tools.
• Programming: Experience with scripting languages like PHP, Javascript, or Python.
