Senior Map Data Validation Lead - Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Map Data Validation Lead to join its autonomous vehicle team. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating HD/SD map data, a critical component in autonomous driving.

The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive map data validation strategy, identifying gaps in the existing validation process, and performing manual and automatic validation tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop overarching map data validation strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Identify gaps in the existing map data validation process and implement improvement measures
• Perform manual and automatic map data validation on a daily basis
• Train and support map release operators

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies
• At least 6+ years of dedicated QA or operation experience in the area of map data validation
• GIS background a plus
• A motivated individual capable of working autonomously with minimal direction
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of HD map data verification protocols and techniques
• Self-starter with minimal direction required
