Innovation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML & Innovation Engineer who will lead initiatives across our Hybrid Cloud portfolio and thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will develop and program integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze, and leverage structured and unstructured data in product and systems applications. They will use machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to improve product/system performance, data management, quality, and accuracy.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, frameworks, and algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design AI and machine learning solutions.
• Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms.
• Deploy machine learning models into production environments, considering scalability, performance, and security considerations.
• Optimize high-throughput, low-latency LLM inference pipelines.
• Design and orchestrate autonomous agentic workflows and multi-agent systems.
• Integrate models with existing software systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor the performance of deployed models and collect relevant metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Typically, 4-7 years of experience.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.), Open Source, Linux, etc.
• Understanding of DevOps, SRE, and advanced neural network architectures.

We offer a hybrid work arrangement with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
