Description
You'll join the Billing team as a Junior Go Engineer, building Billing v2, a big update to how our subscription system works. You'll be learning and building on a fresh, modern codebase from the start.
Responsibilities:
- Building automated email reminders that recover failed payments and keep subscriptions active
- Contributing to a new Billing Dashboard where merchants can see their revenue, subscriptions, and payment stats
- Taking part in splitting a payment-retry feature into its own separate service, with a clean API between it and the main system
- Working on the Coupons service , building its new API and moving existing users over to it
Requirements:
- 6+ months of experience with Go
- Basic experience with databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
- Willingness to learn testing: unit, integration, functional, e2e
- An open, proactive mindset , you like to ask questions, try things, and take responsibility for your work
- Curiosity and genuine interest in learning how a fintech product works
