Quality Expert - Data Analytics, Lead

We are seeking a Quality Expert - Telemetry Lead at EA - KL (onsite in Malaysia) to lead telemetry strategy and data frameworks across Apex Legends.

As a Quality Expert - Telemetry Lead, you will report to the Development Director and use AI and Machine Learning to transform data into applicable quality insights.

Responsibilities:

• Automation Strategy and Implementation:
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of telemetry methodology.
• Lead the integration of telemetry into the SDLC.
• Guide the use of AI/ML models to detect anomalies and predict defects.

• Quality and Data Analysis:
• Compile and interpret data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries.
• Use telemetry-driven insights to prioritize testing and improve product quality outcomes.
• Implement predictive analytics to identify quality risks early.

• Collaboration and Communication:
• Partner with QV, Development, and Data teams.
• Translate complex telemetry data into meaningful insights for non-technical team members.

• Mentorship and Team Support:
• Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across multiple teams.
• Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in telemetry, data analytics, or quality technology leadership.
• Experience building, evolving, and maintaining telemetry frameworks.
• Background in data analysis, automation, or AI/ML.
• Experience mentoring others to develop technical and analytical skills.
• Understanding of game development lifecycles and risk-based quality approaches.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or equivalent visualization tools.
• Experience with CI/CD integration for telemetry pipelines.
