Advanced Data Analyst - EA Sports FC Live

Electronic Arts is seeking an Advanced Data Analyst to join the FC Data & Analytics team, focusing on forecasting and performance modelling for FC's live service business.

The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative forecasting expertise, business intuition, and the ability to translate historical trends, player behaviour, and live content strategies into actionable projections.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the forecasting framework for performance measurement, planning, and strategic decision-making
• Employ financial modelling techniques, time series analysis, and knowledge of their use cases
• Develop a robust model projecting live service funnel metrics
• Collaborate with partners across Product Management, Finance, and Commercial teams
• Establish scalable forecasting processes
• Lead presentations to diverse audiences
• Run risk and opportunity scenarios
• Mentor and collaborate with other analysts

Requirements:

• Degree in a quantitative discipline
• 7+ years of experience in a data-driven role
• 4+ years of experience developing financial/product performance projections and forecasts
• Strong experience in statistical and/or time series modelling
• Expertise in SQL and working with large-scale, complex datasets
• Proficient in analyzing large datasets using programmatic tools (e.g., Python, R)
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Strong capabilities in project management processes
• Comfortable presenting analysis in an executive-facing environment
