Field Application Engineer, AI Factory

We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer to join our team. As a specialist in system design and networking, you will lead our customers in understanding the transformative power of artificial intelligence in the industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing onsite technical engagement for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems, solving complex hardware and deployment issues, and acting as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
• Solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
• Work as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, supporting sales account managers.
• Establish technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects.
• Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
• Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
• Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
• In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware.
• Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment.
• Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time-management and organization skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.).
• C/C++ and Python programming skills.
• Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
• Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.
