What you'll do

Your area of responsibility consists of management of system safety in innovative development projects according to ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and ISO 21448.

  • You moderate hazard analyses such as HARA and HAZOP and safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA and DFA
  • You work on the safety of system design of electronic systems for various technologies: top-class chassis systems. e-mobility systems, driver assistance systems and highly automated driving systems
  • You manage safety requirements throughout the whole safety lifecycle
  • You contribute to the functional safety vehicle testing in renowned Porsche cars on proving grounds around the globe
  • You manage the supplier interface with respect to functional safety or SOTIF
  • You perform reviews, safety assessments and safety audits
  • You define and improve the processes, methodologies, guidelines, and toolchains
  • You also guide and train the teams and supervise junior safety engineers

What you need

  • You have strong knowledge of Functional Safety, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or other comparable and related standards
  • You have experience with failure analysis methodologies, such as HARA, HAZOP, FMEA, FTA
  • Your knowledge of SOTIF (ISO 21448) and experience with development according to V-model and software quality management such as ASPICE is an advantage
  • Your previous experience in the field of automotive systems with focus on electronics is an advantage
  • You speak English very well, and German language is considered a plus
  • You are a curious, proactive person with strong communication skills, willing to extend the knowledge to various domains including high performance systems and highly autonomous driving.
