IT Project Manager - Legal Solutions

We are seeking an IT Project Manager - Legal Solutions to join our Cross Functional & Legal Projects team. As a technically savvy Project Manager with an analytical mindset and a passion for holistic business solutions, you will advance the digitalisation of the Legal business domain.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects in the Legal business domain from requirements engineering through go-live and operational handover
• Manage scope, risks, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment while applying agile and PMI-based project management practices
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure projects progress efficiently and deliver sustainable business value
• Analyse business needs and translate them into scalable, fit-for-purpose technical solutions
• Facilitate workshops, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
• Take ownership of business-critical applications and services, continuously improving their functionality, reliability, and value for the business
• Leverage AI to enhance processes, strengthen decision-making, and improve the user experience
• Manage project and operational budgets responsibly, ensuring transparency and effective use of resources
• Oversee external partners and consultants to support successful delivery, maintain compliance with company standards, and ensure investments generate measurable value

Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
• At least three years of experience managing complex IT and business transformation initiatives
• Solid technical expertise, with a good understanding of architectures, integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications
• Background in requirements engineering, process modelling, and solution design
• Familiarity with AI technologies, AI-assisted ways of working, and practical business use cases
• Experience in the Legal domain, particularly Compliance Management / Data Privacy, is advantageous
• Ability to translate business challenges into effective, scalable digital solutions
• Knowledge of agile and PMI-based delivery methodologies, service ownership, continuous improvement, and vendor management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with a structured, data-driven approach
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
