Associate Director, Data and Analytics

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics. As a Senior Technical Lead, you will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, Agentic AI, and DevOps practices on Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver scalable, secure, resilient solutions on GCP
• Lead architecture reviews and technical decisions
• Drive cloud modernisation and migration
• Build and optimise batch and real-time pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer/Airflow, and Pub/Sub
• Ensure governance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Implement secure, standardised connectors to internal APIs/data sources
• Build automated evaluation harnesses and implement tracing across agent steps
• Deliver IaC with Terraform and CI/CD for cloud/data workloads

Required Qualifications:

• 12–15+ years in IT, including 5+ years hands-on in GCP architecture, data engineering, and AI/agentic AI solutions
• Strong in core GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, GCE, GCS, GKE, etc.)
• Proven delivery of production microservices/APIs and distributed systems
• Strong Python skills
• Hands-on LLM integration
• Experience with graph databases and relationship modelling
• Familiarity with agentic development frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect / Data Engineer certification
• Experience in enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs
• Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimization
• Experience in regulated industries (Banking)
