Are you looking to make a significant impact in education? Zeta, a network of schools operating in New York City, is seeking an Associate Director or Director of High School English to join their team.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree and at least five years of school leadership experience, with a proven track record of achieving excellent academic outcomes in English Language Arts (ELA).
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a vision and strategy for ELA that aligns with Zeta's goals
- Leading the high school English department to meet rigorous annual academic goals
- Collaborating with teachers, principals, and other stakeholders to drive student growth
- Managing curriculum and assessment materials to ensure alignment with New York State Learning Standards
- Designing and leading professional learning trainings for educators
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and inform instruction
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and feedback
Zeta offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, a 403(b) retirement plan, and flexible spending accounts.
