Description
Boeing is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer (PSE) to join the Multi-User Objective System (MUOS) program in El Segundo, California.
As a Product Security Engineer, you will apply an interdisciplinary approach to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify lifecycle-balanced information system security solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-leading a team of Product Security Engineers to implement cybersecurity features on satellite vehicles and RMF processes for embedded computing systems.
- Evaluating resilient network operations for a satellite system and implementing effective crypto keying techniques.
- Performing analyses to optimize total system of systems and system architecture.
- Identifying assets and assessing risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to ensure security design integrity.
- Overseeing the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensuring security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support.
This position requires:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience with spacecraft, payloads, ground systems, and/or space mission systems.
- 5+ years of experience performing software integration with hardware, firmware, and other software.
- 10+ years of experience working with technical implementation in classified and unclassified environments.
Preferred qualifications include:
- DoD 8140 (8570) Security+.
- Experience in working with space and ground systems security architectures.
- Experience supporting Satellite System Integration or Operation.
- Experience with Launch System Integration and Operations.
The typical salary range for this position is $218,450 – $295,550.
