As a Senior Product Quality Engineer, you will work inside & outside the organization to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high quality & reliable products. This role focuses on the Connected Warfare product family, mainly the Eagle Eye product, with opportunities for career growth to other products in development stages.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between design engineering, manufacturing, production, and testing teams.
  • Drive production quality for Eagle Eye by investigating root causes, implementing corrective actions, designing quality strategies for critical sub-systems, and leading process risk-mitigation activities.
  • Drive clarity and resolution for development ambiguities related to product maturity, process stability, and field performance.
  • Champion the transition from new product introduction to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing processes and supply chains.
  • Eliminate product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure the execution of product and process requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally to define and execute the product roadmap.
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
  • Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • Experience in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality in Connected Devices, Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Aerospace/Defense, or similar hardware.
  • Working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBAs, Cables, AR/VR Systems, Optoelectronics, Connected Devices, Harnessing, and systems integration.
  • Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.
  • Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements, MSA, and GD&T.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to completion.
  • Analytical skills and experience with data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical analysis tools (JMP, MiniTab, MatLab, etc.).
  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • 5-7 years of experience with developing quality systems for low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments and suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements.
  • Experience with IPC standards.
  • Experience with government contracts and mil-standard requirements.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, SolidWorks, Jira, Tableau, and Altium (or other PCBA and harness design software).
