Process Coach

We are seeking a Process Coach to join our team at Ford in Chihuahua, Mexico.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a body shop, stamping, paint, or subassembly.

Responsibilities:

• Coach and support manufacturing work groups to ensure objectives are met
• Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives
• Monitor ANDON occurrences and respond as secondary support
• Verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
• Support Kaizen and coach problem resolution
• Meet targets for JPH, FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expense
• Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
• Create a conducive work environment for the team
• Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
• Ensure adherence and compliance to FPS Key Unifying Processes

Requirements:

• Ability to work any shift, including rotating shifts and weekends
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Multi-tasking ability
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Leadership skills combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
• Experience managing a unionized workforce
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and constraint management principles
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• CNC machining experience and helium leak stand experience preferred
