Description
We are seeking a Process Coach to join our team at Ford in Chihuahua, Mexico.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a body shop, stamping, paint, or subassembly.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and support manufacturing work groups to ensure objectives are met
- Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives
- Monitor ANDON occurrences and respond as secondary support
- Verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
- Support Kaizen and coach problem resolution
- Meet targets for JPH, FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expense
- Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
- Create a conducive work environment for the team
- Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
- Ensure adherence and compliance to FPS Key Unifying Processes
Requirements:
- Ability to work any shift, including rotating shifts and weekends
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Multi-tasking ability
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
- Leadership skills combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
- Experience managing a unionized workforce
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and constraint management principles
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- CNC machining experience and helium leak stand experience preferred
