Description
Anduril Industries is seeking a Legal Counsel, Maritime to support its Maritime Division on a transformational shipyard program. This role is located in Washington D.C. and requires both government contracts expertise and corporate legal experience.
The successful candidate will provide legal counsel across four critical lines of effort: government contracting, corporate formation and governance, financing and credit documentation, and entity structure. This role demands someone who can move fluidly between negotiating FAR/DFARS flow-downs and drafting company governance documents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing complex government contracts, including FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 contracts
- Managing compliance and risk across multiple CLIN structures and documenting accepted risks
- Building relationships with procurement office representatives at Government agencies and prime contractor legal/contracts teams
- Supporting corporate formation and governance
- Negotiating IP license agreements and intercompany Services Agreements
- Coordinating financing transactions
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of combined experience in government contracts law and corporate/transactional law
- Strong government contracts foundation, including deep understanding of FAR/DFARS, contract vehicles, and data rights
- Corporate and transactional experience, including entity formation, operating agreements, and IP licensing
- Experience negotiating complex agreements with sophisticated counterparties
- Strong project management skills, with ability to own multiple parallel workstreams and drive to closure on compressed timelines
- Licensure to practice law in D.C. (or willingness to obtain admission)
