We're seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our team in creating innovative diagnostic tools and systems for top OEMs worldwide. You'll work on a greenfield project, developing Full-Stack applications using Java, React, TypeScript, and AWS.
Job Overview
As a Junior Software Developer, you will be part of a team of experienced developers working on Service-Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics (SOVD). This project enables remote diagnostics and software updates for machines from one of the world's largest agricultural machinery manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern Full-Stack applications for vehicle diagnostics alongside our team
- Work on both backend and frontend, gaining insights into the entire stack
- Collaborate using Java, React, and TypeScript
- Utilise AWS and contemporary development and deployment processes
- Learn about the complex domain of vehicle diagnostics and become a domain expert over time
- Work closely with experienced developers in pair and mob programming settings
- Contribute your ideas and help implement new technical solutions pragmatically
- Develop software that is actually used by clients
Requirements
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyse problems and understand complex contexts
- Abstract thinking and comfort with complex topics
- Quick learning and adaptability in new technologies and domains
- Initiative and a 'figure it out' mentality
- Pragmatic approach and willingness to experiment
- Prior practical experience in software development
- Good knowledge of Java and/or React
- Willingness to take responsibility and continuously develop yourself
