Description

We're seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our team in creating innovative diagnostic tools and systems for top OEMs worldwide. You'll work on a greenfield project, developing Full-Stack applications using Java, React, TypeScript, and AWS.

Job Overview

As a Junior Software Developer, you will be part of a team of experienced developers working on Service-Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics (SOVD). This project enables remote diagnostics and software updates for machines from one of the world's largest agricultural machinery manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop modern Full-Stack applications for vehicle diagnostics alongside our team
  • Work on both backend and frontend, gaining insights into the entire stack
  • Collaborate using Java, React, and TypeScript
  • Utilise AWS and contemporary development and deployment processes
  • Learn about the complex domain of vehicle diagnostics and become a domain expert over time
  • Work closely with experienced developers in pair and mob programming settings
  • Contribute your ideas and help implement new technical solutions pragmatically
  • Develop software that is actually used by clients

Requirements

  • Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyse problems and understand complex contexts
  • Abstract thinking and comfort with complex topics
  • Quick learning and adaptability in new technologies and domains
  • Initiative and a 'figure it out' mentality
  • Pragmatic approach and willingness to experiment
  • Prior practical experience in software development
  • Good knowledge of Java and/or React
  • Willingness to take responsibility and continuously develop yourself
