Regulatory Affairs Assistant

FBS, part of Farmers operations, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Assistant. The role involves providing routine data collection, preparation, and administrative support for complaint response duties handled by Regulatory Affairs Specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and organise complaint, policy, billing, and related business information for internal and/or external reporting using established procedures.
• Coordinate with Product, Billing, Claims, Service, I/T, and other business partners to obtain documentation, confirm data needs, and route policy or billing-related inquiries.
• Perform data uploads to state regulatory portals and support timely regulatory reporting in accordance with instructions and established controls.
• Maintain complaint file tracking, work assignment queues, portal records, data dictionary fields, and other metadata updates as assigned.
• Review assigned information for completeness, consistency, and obvious data issues; escalate discrepancies or non-routine questions to Regulatory Affairs Specialists or management.
• Research and evaluate policy processing transactions to support Regulatory Affairs Specialist to resolve complaints;
• Assist in development of plans to address complaint trends
• Participate in department and team sessions to discuss complaint trends
• Assist Reg Affairs Specialist on data calls, premium surveys, market conduct exams, and investigations.
