Physical Therapist (PT) Float - Outpatient

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) Float for our outpatient services at Advocate Health. As a float therapist, you will work within a 40-minute range of Park Ridge, IL, and have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting physician referrals, completing evaluations, establishing plans of care, and implementing individual treatment based on evaluation results and functional goals. You will also monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret physician referrals and complete evaluations
• Establish plans of care and implement individual treatment
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
• Participate in performance improvement activities
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and extenders as needed

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Physical Therapy License in the State of Illinois or Wisconsin
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $41.10 - $61.65 per hour
• $5,000 sign-on bonus payable in two installments
• $5.00 per hour differential for working as a float therapist
