Verification AI Engineer

Synopsys software engineers are key enablers in the world of Electronic Design Automation (EDA), developing and maintaining software used in chip design, verification and manufacturing.

As a Verification AI Engineer, you will design and build AI-powered tools and workflows that make verification engineers more productive, whether that is smarter debug assistants, automated coverage analysis, or intelligent testbench generation.

You will work directly with Product Engineering and R&D teams to identify high-impact verification pain points and translate them into concrete AI-assisted solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and building AI-powered tools and workflows
• Working with Product Engineering and R&D teams to identify pain points
• Integrating AI technologies like LLMs, RAG systems, AI agents, and workflow orchestration frameworks
• Evaluating emerging AI frameworks and technologies
• Providing technical leadership across the Korea Verification team
• Collaborating with global cross-functional teams
• Debugging complex integration issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, plus 10+ years in semiconductor verification or related engineering roles
• Deep hands-on experience with verification methodologies and flows
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
• Demonstrated ability to build software that integrates with complex engineering workflows
• Experience or strong interest in applying AI, machine learning, LLMs, or automation technologies
